Subscription terms
The agreement for using PhaseDrift and its optional managed services.
These terms apply when you buy or use a PhaseDrift subscription. If you do not agree, do not complete checkout or use the product.
Your license
PhaseDrift gives the billing account a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the released local application during an active subscription. The subscription does not transfer ownership of PhaseDrift, its source code, or its trademarks. You may use the product for your own work and the projects you are authorized to access.
Your subscription is limited by the published plan, including the number of activated machines and managed-analysis allowance. Do not share a license outside the billing account, bypass the activation checks, reverse engineer the product, or use it to provide a competing hosted service.
Your project data
You control the repositories and local data you connect to PhaseDrift. You are responsible for having permission to process that data. The local tracker, code scans, saved reports, and dashboard are stored on your machine.
Managed Jev analysis is separate. It remains off until you review the redacted payload and provide explicit cloud-analysis consent. It is not enabled by purchasing, installing, or activating a license. Read Privacy and costs for the data paths, retention, and provider information.
Billing and cancellation
Stripe processes subscriptions and payment details. Your subscription renews each month until you cancel it through the Stripe billing portal. The billing portal shows the current price, tax, renewal date, and cancellation date before you confirm a change.
If a payment fails, a subscription expires, or a payment is refunded or disputed, PhaseDrift can stop new licensed activity after any access period already granted by the local application. Saved local evidence remains yours. You can reconnect an active subscription after resolving billing.
Product changes and support
We may update PhaseDrift to fix defects, improve compatibility, or change the managed service. We will not use a product update to turn on cloud analysis without your separate consent. The local software depends on your operating system, repository, coding tools, and project dependencies, so some analyzers or integrations can be unavailable for a given project.
